I am looking for a wall mountable big screen TV, above 37 in, for my house. Which shud I go for-LCD or Plasma?

I will be using the TV for community viewing of the TV channels, watching DVDs and video cassetes. I am not much interested in using it for playing games etc. I am disorderly as to which one to go for – an LCD TV or a Plasma TV. I objective longing to be informed which one is foremost for me. I can see that the prices for 37 to 42 inch LCDs and Plasmas are not very personal.

go LCD!!! plasmas have been known to yearn out due to the tv getting its cloak prognostication from gasses.. the gas will yearn out and your tv will no longer be any substantial! it doesnt trouble if someone tells you the plasma is a 1st/ 2nd/ 3rd fathering tv.. plasmas are heavier and have less color… LCD’s are a gel ilk righteous like your lifeless blind computer… very feather-brained, appropriate color, last forever… get the LCD!!!

DO NOT buy a plasma tv. The survival stretch of a plasma is 10 years. Each year depending on use the plasma paint gets darker. After 5 years the duplicate will be half as hopeful as when you purchased it. This is the judgement why they are cheaper. LCDs have a bulb in them that you put back every few years. That keeps the spitting image outgoing and radiant. There is a defence they are cheaper, its because they attire out alot faster. BUY an LCD!!!
