Da muss man sich schon die Augen reiben. Mit den Fernsehern der nächsten Crop werden wir die Falten von Filmstars in mikroskopischer Detailtreue studieren können. Vor einem Monat entzückte der südkoreanische Hersteller Samsung in den USA die Experten einer Fachmesse mit dem Prototypen eines "Ultra 3-D TVs", der mehr als acht Millionen Pixel auf einem 70 Zoll-Observe verteilt - das sind vier mal so viele Bildpunkte wie heutzutage bei HD-TVs üblich. Dem Anblick verfiel selbst die kritische Fachwelt. Der erstmals im Herbst 2010 vorgestellte Fernseher heimste auf der Konferenz der Gesellschaft für Informationsdisplays in Los Angeles elicit den Preis für das beste Stück der Show ein.
Das war eine Wahl mit Weitblick: Zwar ist weder bekannt, wann die superscharfen Fernseher auf den Markt kommen werden, noch ist Samsung der erste Hersteller, der diese Technik präsentiert. Aber das Commission der Südkoreaner ist immer ein gutes Zeichen dafür, dass eine neue Technik kurz vor der Reifeprüfung steht. Das war schon bei 3-D-Fernsehern so. Nun könnte sich die Geschichte wiederholen. Schon 2008 hatte Panasonic die Experten auf der US-Elektronikmesse mit einem 150-Zoll-Plasma überrascht, der die Bilder nicht wie bei HD-TVs üblich mit 1920 mal 1080, sondern 4096 mal 2160 Bildpunkten auflöste. Auch Sony zeigte ein Modell. Die Besucher drückten sich like the clappers of hell die Nasen an den superscharfen Bildschirmen platt. "Dieser Bildschirm verleiht dem Wort Heimkino wirklich eine neue Bedeutung", jubelte der Technikjournalist Ian Morris auf Cnet. Die Bilder wirkten fast wie aufgestrichene Fotos. Ihre Auflösung entsprach dem Digitalkino-Type. 4K wird der Standard von Fachleuten gerne genannt, wobei das "K" für Kilo, also 1000 steht und die Zahl der horizontalen Zeilen wiedergibt. Panasonic schob Anfang 2010 sogar die 3-D-taugliche Variante seines Riesenfernsehers hinterher.

update..got tv..its up and ceaseless..very unadorned to set up..the initial tv “set up” is very healthy, then i toughened cnet stage set and its even larger..i from the first anticipation the draw was major, then put on my glasses and was WOWED all over again!disinterestedly i cant find pick on in anything..the aps are speedy..facsimile is unbelievable..and the packaging is top cut..its a rare affair to find a result that is competitively priced and isnt compromised ..A+ to vizio!!
