CES 2010 is over—here’s my recap
I’m back from another CES and as unoriginal I’m happy I attended. As I did this year, I large allocate two days to ramble aimlessly through the cavernous exhibits. Similarly, rather than try to heed every television seminar, look in on every kiosk and pier about everything that I see, consider or get told about, I select forming opinions and later disparage about those as recollections. So here goes….
The media hype one-time to the show was all about 3D HDTV, eReaders & Tablets. There were certainly enough of those to go around, but there were also thousands of other devices, products and services. One of the more off-the-wall non-mobility things that I observed included the Associate Quattro 6000D sewing mechanism. The Quattro 6000D combines printed images with embroidery designs for 3D art. Since my bride is a quilter, even though it might take some monied from my technology budget, I had to broadcast her about this gang.
