TV prices sag on DSF discounts
TV prices have hit rock bottom in the UAE this Dubai Shopping Festival. Samsung’s four series 32“ LCD TV has become the cheapest access level LCD selling for less than Dh1000 in the UAE.
While major brands have introduced major discounts and at times reduced prices, stores on their part have added pleasing gift vouchers to add to the frenzy and bring down the prices further.
Salesmen at various electronic stores told Emirates 247 that this is indeed the mature to buy television sets. LCDs and LED Television sets are the top movers.
“On an average, over a hundred TV sets are sold everyday from our store in Times Square alone,” said a sales organization from Sharaf DG.
Prices of some of the sets have been reduced by almost thirty to forty per cent. “The lowest we are charging for an LCD TV is neutral Dh840 - for a Samsung 32” four series, the basic version. It is the lowest payment ever for an LCD TV in the UAE market,” said another sales staff from Lulu’s electronics breaking up.
