Project Idea – Modifying An Entertainment Cabinet
Pictured above is an entertainment cupboard my pater-in-law built back in the mid 80s to custom fit a Sony cheer up TV he had purchased, as well as the speakers seen that he built to be included in the tallboy. He upgraded his TV in the mid 90s, and so when my trouble and I were married almost 14 years ago, the TV and its council became ours as a juncture backsheesh. The palpable tempered to in the bureau is red oak ply and crowded pieces, and was finished with a danish oil.
That assuage TV served us well, then had a few power issues. When we updated to a plasma TV a few years back, the comfort TV sat unoccupied in the council for a while. I recently removed it, with the understanding that now I’d like to do something more pragmatic with the place (besides having a kid opening there to enjoin “unsanctioned” access to the extent behind the chest-on-chest). I’d like to do some mould of shelving – move the center path keynoter you see on top to a shelf within the committee. Then perhaps some other shelves to lodgings trappings, books, or whatever.
